Annie Besant School is named after a renowned Indian freedom struggler Ms. Annie Besant, who also worked for the women emancipation. For people like her boundaries are no bars. Ms. Annie Besant contributed her entire life for the social & ideological consciousness among the society.

She was an Irish by birth and an Indian by heart. She emerged as a light house during our freedom struggle and joined Lokmanya Tilak in Theosophical Society. Ms. Besant founded the Central Hindu College in 1898 at Banaras which later came to be known as Banaras Hindu University.

She established the All India Home Rule League in Madras (now Chennai) in 1916. Her dedication towards our country and countrymen is no doubt a symbol of passion and inner power. Her love for India was transparent and beyond doubt. She was keen that India should get freedom and should be on top amongst the nations of the world. India should regain its rich heritage and for this even sacrificing our life is worth. We are rightly inspired by her principles and services.

Late Shri P. K. Yadav, a visionary who made quality education affordable for everyone. We are fortunate that we got the chance to learn, grow, experiment and accelerate under his apt guidance. Shri Yadav was among very few people in India who spent their entire life for the cause of education and betterment of kids. Overlooking all the financial aspects, he made efforts to bring class education in everyone's reach. Preparing the generation next with the motto - "Give us an innocent mind and take back a wise soul" he was on his way to give country a breed of enthusiastic, intellectual, aware and caring individuals.

He stood by his statement and worked hard with all the section of students so as to deliver best to the students and make them stand in society with head held high. Today many of his students are placed on very high position in the society. You will always remain our ideal and inspiration for generation to come. We would keep following his words and ideas for taking Annie Besant School to another level.
